Generate new business and manage our existing clients such as Heineken, ITER, Rijkswaterstaat, Shell, Covestro and Cargill for our innovative project cost management software, Cleopatra Enterprise.
As Business Developer, you will help us drive business growth with a deep understanding of the targeted markets in an international business environment. The leads are mainly generated by our Inside Sales Team, but you are also involved in this from time to time by doing trade fair visits and from your own network. You will also regularly travel to visit clients around the world (of course during the current circumstances we are all working differently).
You will follow-up the warm leads by giving presentations and demo’s, hosting webinars and prospecting of new clients to develop new accounts and collaborations. With sincere interest in your clients, you’ll support them along the entire sales process to strengthen the relationships with them while also managing relationships with the existing clients.
We will offer you training to ensure you have all the skills and product knowledge required to be successful in this position. You will be part of the Sales Team and work in a network of various teams such as cost consultants, software engineers, and finance specialists to reach client goals and support our growth objective. This concerns complex processes in which you as a consultant sit around the table with multiple stakeholders (senior executives) to arrive at an optimal solution.
This is an opportunity for anyone with the following qualifications:
- A completed master degree
- +2 years of experience in sales of complex products/services or business consultancy
- Experience with elaborate sales processes & official tenders
- Experience with contract review & negotiations
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in both Dutch and English – fluency in another language would be a big plus
- A technical background and/or experience within an EPC project organisation
- Experience with enterprise software / IT is a plus
